Hey ya'll! So much has happened since my last blog, I don't know where to begin but lets catch up then I will share photos of my new favorite (it is truly breath taking) location with you.
Cristal Malek Photography officially opened in Downtown El Campo Texas, last Thursday, November 9th. It feels fantastic to be able to walk out my backdoor to the assortment of stunning textures in my own alley. Several people have asked me why I moved my primary location and why I decided to become and El Campo Texas Photographer. The answer, quite simply, is it is where I want to be most. There's something about a small town that grasps my heart. Aside from the fact that the people are friendly, the business are truly still family owned and operated, and the food is ah-may-zing, I enjoy taking a step back and living at a different pace!!! Now about that food, Yes I love some good BBQ, kolaches, tacos, and ya'll, they have the BEST coffee shop I have ever been too! Seriously if you know me then you know I have a gold starbucks card with my name on it issued by the company but the white chocolate mocha at "The Coffee Bar" blows them away.
Ok now back to the location and all of its glory. I had the pleasure of meeting with the property manager for a tour of the grounds which she so graciously took time from her day to do. As I was driving onto the property it became quiet clear the this was a well cared for family owned estate.

Don't worry my Houston people, I will still be working on location here as a Houston Photographer but it might be worth the drive to step out of your comfort zone for an exceptional experience.
If you know someone getting married looking for a unique experience this venue is starting to host weddings and get this, you have the option to stay overnight with your wedding party! This is my favorite package they are offering.

Of course this Packages do not include catering, tents, decorations, staff, or a few other things listed on their website and there is a $1000 damage deposit in addition to booking deposit.
